Who we are
The Customs Desk is a trading name of Tevolution Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 12453016), registered office Latimer Road, London SW19 1EW. Tevolution Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect
- Details you give us in our quote and contact forms: name, company, email, phone number (optional), whether you have an EORI number, and your answers about what you import or export.
- Anything you tell us when you email us.
Why we use it
To reply to you, send your price, and provide customs clearance or consultancy services if you choose to work with us. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We don't sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Our website and forms are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which processes form submissions on our behalf. Where we clear goods for you, we share the information legally required with HMRC and, where needed, your carriers or agents. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.
Cookies and third parties
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We remember your preferred display currency in your browser's local storage - this stays on your device. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and exchange rates are fetched from the Frankfurter API; these services will see your IP address when your browser requests them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. If you become a client, we keep customs records for at least the period required by law (generally six years).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@thecustomsdesk.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
